Hailing from the Iowan metropolis of Cedar Rapids, The Sound Thoughts emerged on the scene with guns blazing, guitars soaring, and songs that challenge the heart and mind. The planets aligned and things finally came together in 2008 as Derek Allison and Tim King joined forces to collectively change the musical landscape forever. Seth "Guy (If It's Free)" Hansen and Grant "Is There Still A Band?" Jennings were hand-delivered from the gods to round out the quartet. If you're still reading this pseudo-epic garbage, take away one thing: we are a rock band from Cedar Rapids. Check out our debut album "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Disaster" and new E.P.
