I lived in Columbia from 95'-97' and was a huge 'Sourwood' fan and later became a big fan of 'The South'. I was not fortunate enough to know Chris as much as most of you have, but he did impact his fans with his lyrics, his musical talent, and his spirit. He will be greatly missed.

After many tears after reading this about chris whom I was so hoping since everything was going great that he would be back with us making his beautiful music. Chris will be missed by a lot of people for he was loved by many. My deepest condolences to his family for their loss of such a wonderful person. You don't get to meet to many like him and his presence here on earth will sadly be missed. May his music play on forever.
