Machine 22 has been formed from a fusion of two completely different bands, physically and musically. Devin Farlow, Nick Pelowski, and Ben Pelowski were born and raised in Rochester, MN and played in a band called SPIES (alternative/progressive/rock) and Jack Swagger was born in Woodbury, MN but moved to Apple Valley roughly around his Junior year in high school and played in The Soviet Machines (alternative/punk-pop/rock). This collaberation has turned the newly created Machine 22 into an alternative/powerpop/rock that is on the rise and progressing rapidly. SPIES and The Soviet Machines played multiple shows together and got to know each other well; paving the way with a strong friendship between the four members of Machine 22. After a few months of playing shows, some minor complications, and the unfortunate splitting of the two separate groups, this crossing of paths birthed something that is unique, fresh, and powerful. In the process of recording, a Midwest tour booked for mid July, a West coast tour in the process of being booked for mid October, the boys have their eyes set on the East coast afterwards, and eventually Europe.
