A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away….. Well not really.
Joining forces to fight intergalactic crime, five of the universe’s most famous superheroes travelled through space on their ship until one day they received a distress call.
Earth has lost its groove!
The superheroes agreed that these strange beings were in dire need of rescue. They decided to heed the call and bring their brand of superhero dance rock to the planet. The Space Rockers mission……Make earthlings dance and bring groove to the planet!
Captain Cosmos is the fearless leader of the fivesome, commanding the ship through space, linked to the craft by his mechanical forearm. In space, he can stun any adversary with the red lasers that shoot out of his fingertips. Cosmos has an over-protective mom who always calls him when he is on stage rocking. He also communicates with Spaceship, who hovers above and transmits important intergalactic messages. Don’t be surprised if the Captain receives phone calls from famous celebs such as Paris Hilton or Brittany Spears; he is a popular hero among the Hollywood hotties.
Stinger earns his name from the stinging tentacles that adorn his head and his bug-like appearance. Stinger wears a voice-decoding armband to translate his bug banter, but it constantly malfunctions on the strange planet Earth. Stinger is known throughout the galaxy for his stellar rapping skills and his ability to shake it on stage. He invented “Stinger size”, a series of dance workout videos to slim down plump superheroes across the universe. He likes to give demonstrations and lessons to his audiences on Earth.
Thunderstick is the silly jokester of The Space Rockers. You can often see him laughing at his own jokes while he twirls his drumsticks. He is a ball of energy as he pounds on his drums, imitating his favorite Earth hero…Animal from the Muppet Show. He is known throughout the universe for his ability to hurl drumsticks with lightening speed. His drumsticks crash into their target with a sonic thunderous boon. Watch Out!
No evil-doer in outer space wants to be probed by Probe, the mindreading interstellar superhero. He can cast anyone into a trance should someone gaze into his mind portal on his forehead. He is always dressed to perfection, insisting he wear a flowing cape even though he can’t fly. On his home planet, Probe was voted “Superhero of the Year” in Fly Times magazine. He is the poster boy superhero and a favorite among advertisers; he is featured on the box of nearly every cereal and TV dinner.
Neuron is the ships engineer and the smartest of The Space Rockers. He’s always tinkering and inventing new gadgets, like wormhole in a can and flux capacitors. Neuron loves to time travel and isn’t afraid to do so, sometimes even during the show! He wears a glowing helmet to keep his ever-working brain stable. Among other various achievements, Neuron received the Snowbell award for scientific achievement at the distinguished Pluto science fair.
Spaceship is the shy spacecraft that the superheroes travel through the universe on. Spaceship is much more than a bucket of galactic bolts; She hovers above the stage shielded by her invisible ray and always keeps a watchful eye towards outer space, warning the heroes of any threat from their arch nemesis.

I'm SO SAD about Scout Bar in Beaumont closing! I guess we'll have to road trip to Houston to see our Space Rockers now. :( Hopefully y'all will play at the new venue when it opens. Miss y'all!
