The Spaniards started when brothers Mark and Brad were looking to begin a new project after the breakup of their band Stereo Angel. After nine rewarding years playing with Stereo Angel they were looking to create a different sound while experimenting with new musical textures(new to them anyway) and continuing to write songs together. After a few months of experimentation Mark switched over to drums and Brad continued to play guitar and sing. After deciding that Mark behind the kit was the right move Jessica was then brought on to provide keyboards. They officially began writing songs together in December of '06 playing their first show in February '07. The Spaniards are not about to revolutionize music. They are just three people that are altogether enslaved to the groove. They love the music they play and they hope to continue to make music that matters to them, even if it doesn't matter to anybody else.
Just downloaded We're All Just Fine and played it on my 12X18's in the basement. Sounds like I missed a pretty good thing. Great sound, great songs. Would have liked the chance to see a gig.
hey, I'm the drummer from Ensemble With the Firstborn Choir. yeah, we're not really in existence anymore. I happen to be a good drummer (although, I didn't really fall from the sky), but I don't have a drumset. hm, I'm not really sure how that helps your problem. the Spaniards were the shizz. where is the hope for good music in the Valley now?
No worries! Thanks. We did find a sweet place in Lewiston that Dustin hooked us up with! So great to meet everyone and when we come back we definitely would love to play with you! Keep up the good work and I can't wait to hear your CD.
Great to meet you guys last night. I can't wait to get to see you live and hopefully have my Matthew Winters and Benjamin Gordon play a show with you! Until then, keep up the good work and keep Clarkston safe for good music!
