We play raw and rugged hip hop, not that commercialized junk you hear on the radio these days. Music is a matter of passion, not a commodity to be bought or sold.--
Musicians have the power to entertain but the obligation to inspire and inquire for the sake of bettering their community. Music should make people dance. Music should make people think.--
Music, in all it's forms, does not belong any single group of people, it belongs to everyone.--
Positivity's in demand and everyone should always be true to themselves (as cliche as that may be). Too many people have tried and failed to emulate something they simply are not. Music is about being who you are and not caring what others think, not creating a fake image based on imitation. Music, particularly hip hop, has been stereotyped as a negative thing with misogyny, violence and drugs but those musicians are reporting the reality of their upbringing and understanding, not glorifying it. Don't allow for your own bias to create ignorance by rejecting others before you get to understand them. Rap or sing about what you know, listen to others for what you don't.--
Freedom of speech is not a right granted to you by a bunch of old men in wigs, it's a duty to the public discourse. Never fear to speak your own mind even in the face of any form of intimidation. Fuck Hard, Speak Easy.
