| Influences | Hello! My name is Frank, I'm primarily from Berlin Kreuzberg. After a long period of rock'n'roll living I became spiritual and got the chance to learn to tattoo in Friedberg (Frankfurt/Main). It was a great advantage for me that my boss was an demanding but also fond and talented guy with a high degree of popularity. This was approximately in 1991, where there were only 35 tattoo studios in Germany. After my training I began to travel to collect experience and to get in touch with other countries, humans and cultures. In fact it was not only to learn but also make friendships.
Thus I thank with all my heart: Bill+Bob, Slim D (Germany), Gary winter (London), Pogo (Australia), Bernie Luther, Sean Vasquez (NYC), franc weber (Berlin), Mike Sanchez (Portugal), Little John (North Carolina), John Paras (NYC), Miami Miki (Denmark), Claus's wagoner, The Bones (skirt' n' roll volume), Social Distortion for skirt' n' roll for support. Herbert Hoffmann, Zsolt Machat (Hungary), Filip Leu + Family, Biohazard, Cradle OF Filth, Clayton Patterson (NYC show), Micky (of MTV), RTL, Arte, Sat1, NBC Giga, picture newspaper, Weser courier, Tatto Scene, Who is Who, Christian Benvenutto, Andy+Katja (Finland), Hori Hiro (Japan), Miyazo, Scotty (Long Island).
I tried to learn much from colleagues and friends who accompanied me on my way (whether spiritual, handicraft and technology, hygiene or only by stupid questions). My way was for 16 years tattooing, drawing and travelling (e.g. New York City, New Jersey, Boston, North Carolina, China, Sri Lanka, Bali, Maldives, Japan, Hungary, Portugal, Switzerland, Austria, France, Sweden, England, Spain). Among other things I visited many tattoo conventions as e.g. in North Carolina, NYC, Madrid, Stockholm, Boston, New Jersey, Berlin, Frankfurt/Main, Karlsruhe, Amsterdam, Zurich & , where I also received honors for my work!In Bosten I completed a hygiene and sterilisation seminar (2001), in order to have the full certainty for me and my customer to work hygenically. I always try to be up to date with my equipment such as Vakuumklav or Ultrasonoscope (digital) even if these devices are very costly (see hygiene + hygiene records).
You can save at many things but not at your health and tattoos because you have both forever!
Therefore you should select exactly and inform yourself well. Also you should think properly about the motive you want (which can be elaborated with me then).
Nearly everything is possible, whether to cover an old motive with a new, or freehand (freehand drawing by heart painted on skin), custom (co-ordinated to match with customers character, body, muscles). Just come into our Studio and have a look at our photo maps with a cold beverage. I try to deal exactly with your desires however you should always try to make a date early enough. It's sometimes necessary that you have to wait a bit, but I try to handle each tattoo equally and finish it with good conscience. It is important for me that you are satisfied and lucky with my work and the atmosphere, because then I'm too! I hope to see you soon and I want to thank also the people who made it possible for me to live my art, job and life: my customers.
Thanks a lot, sincerely yours Frank Kassebaum,
