After 13 years , several million gigs, and more estrogen from female singers than they could handle, three male members of one of Santa Cruz's most popular cover bands finally decided enough is enough. Being in a cover band was fun, and profitable- but true artistic vision overtook the guarantee of a 4 set dance gig every Friday and Saturday. Armed with some great original material that had been slowly compiled as demos, in 2006 the new core of The Splatters! was born. Work began.
Now, with over a year in the making, The Splatters! new cd is finally approaching completion; the band has spent the last year playing all over the San Francisco Bay area, playing shows that have blown people away. Ready to take on the world, The Splatters! are tight, focused, and full of energy-and with a whole bunch of catchy, well crafted songs. You are going to love these guys.
