21 Oct 2007 1:56 PM ---- i really miss your music. it is the contemporary folk culture of our region and our people. i dont think i fully appreciated what you were doing until i no longer had the option of taking it for granted. thanks for the tunes. p.s. my thai buddies are crazy about it ....... It's the differences between you and your friends -- not the similarities -- that keep you all close, believe it or not. So embrace and respect the fact that they don't always agree with you! Sure, you may not believe those who hold different views, but you should always believe in your friends! Harmony doesn't happen when all notes are the same; it happens when different notes come together and create a beautiful sound. Love the music you and your friends make.
It seems that Christmas time is here once again, and it is time again to bring in the New Year. We wish the merriest of Christmas to you and your loved ones, and we wish you happiness and prosperity in the year ahead. Yola
Hey guys! I've started posting songs to The WV Scene Playlist, but need the help of all the WV Area bands to decide how the Playlists should be done. I'd really appreciate it if you took part in the poll I've posted on The WV Scene myspace page. After all this is a site meant to look after the best interests of the artists whether they be professional or just beginning. (Be sure to add our activity stream so that we can better communicate what it is we're trying to do).
Hey everyone! It's about time to post some of your tunes on The WV Scene Playlist... Until I come up with a better system I'll post the songs of the first ten bands who respond and I'm planning on including a wide variety of styles on the list. Thanks so much! (I won't be posting a song from my own band till later since this site isn't set up to promote my own self interests).

Spurgie Hankins Band, thank you, thank you, thank you for playing the B.J. Berkhouse Benefit Saturday night at the Empty Glass! Without your help we could not have raised $1100 for B.J. Your generosity is greatly appreciated! Because of the efforts of folks like you, B.J. will someday have a complete recovery. Thanks again!
