Drum and Bass sensation Aleksandar Markovic aka "The Square"has appeared on over 30 different labels, released more than 50 tunes, and collaborates regularly with artists all over the world, he djs across the world and guests on many radio stations.
His musical career started at the early age of 8 learning guitar and music theory at the Josip Slavenski Music School, moving onto singing lessons at the tender age of 10.
Aleksandar moved to Austria in 2004. Influenced by Rock, Jazz & Ambient in 2006 he began producing electronic music. It was not long before he was noticed and had his first releases in 2007. 2008 exploded for Aleksandar and saw his tunes being released digitally and also on cd. With 09 seeing his first vinyl releases its shaping up to be even busier for Aleksandar with signings to major label Universal, we can all look forward to more great tunes from the man they call "The Square".
Aleksandar starts his new "Human Soul Show" on Bassdrive September 8, 6-8pm(GMT) every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month.
