Founding members were Bartley, Larson, Mark (bass), and Cayman (guitar). Fillins have included Deke (bass), Derek (guitar) Bentley (drums) and Todd (drums). Dirge (drums) and Tom (guitar) played many shows in the second lineup of the band. They were also in the band during the recording of our first full length.

Ah, the band bio. A lovely opportunity for shitty
bands to crack open the thesaurus to figure out new
ways of saying the same old shit over and over again
to bullshit the reader into believing that the band is
important and has things like fans, radio airplay, and
a message. Well, fuck that. The Stabones aint playing
that fucking game.
The Stabones are a bunch of dorks that play punk rock
because they love the music. Theyre not trying to
overthrow the government or change the world and they
dont give a shit if you think they are cool. They are
here to rock and if they can get some beer and gas
money for their troubles, well then they are happy
boys.
The Stabones were formed in February of 2004 by four
ex/current UVA bus drivers; Bartley, Larson, Mark, and
Cayman, who were looking to play some punk rock. They
had their first practice in Bartleys shitty basement
apartment where they butchered classics like God Save
the Queen by the Pistols and Cretin Hop by the
Ramones. It sounded like total shit, but the band
pressed on and managed to write 5 or 6 originals to
debut at their first show in April at the Brothel on
Price Ave.
Since then, 100+ shows, mind-blowing new songs, and
thousands of beers later, the Stabones are alive and
well. With the new line-up of Bartley on vocals,
Max on guitar, Larson on bass, and John on
drums, the Stabones are dead-fucking-set on coming to
your town, drinking your booze, taking your women, and
rocking you harder than than youve ever been rocked
before.

Yeah, when the fuck are we gonna get more Boner tour dates?! You should play again in Warrenton...that way I can go and not pay a horrendous amount to drive there.
