WAX BROKER RIOT FRIDAY OCTOBER 2ND IT'S A BEAUTIFUL PIZZA 3342 SE BELMONT PORTLAND, OR 7-11PM (Vinyl sale begins at 7, DJ's begin around 8)
The Wax Broker Riot series is designed as an informal record sale/DJ night, hosted by the always gracious folks at It's a Beautiful Pizza on SE Belmont. On Friday October 2nd, we'll be selling some crates filled to the brim with a revolving, hand-picked selection of Rare Groove, Deep Funk, Jazz, Cinematic Soul, Hip-Hop, and Breaks. Hammondbeat Records from here in Portland will also have some heavy 45's and LP's for sale. After you've worked up your appetite digging, you can have some pizza and beer to wash it all down. It's really quite a scene, and not to be missed.
dude i'm not sure if well be able to make it happen cause todays our last day here. so it would definitely need to be today/ tonight and i have no idea what park we would play at just call me 7143912055
don't sweat it. we're playing a show at berbati's thursday the 16th. let me know if any of you can make it, i'll try to get you on the list. if not you should all come out to holocene on the 22nd, it's gonna be a suuuuuper cool show, all the other bands are awesome(and better than us). we play way early though, 8 i think.

like i said if you want to record a song or two, i have a super cool old 4-track, and some decent mics, i'd be glad to help out. i used it to record my ray davies cover, which is on our page. i think it sounds pretty decent?
