The Stereos', have been around for almost 3 years, starting back in the spring of 2005. The band originally started as a jam thing between two of the members, Jake Denu (Guitar) and Colton Hale (Piano/keys). They had been playing together for about 2 months prior. Logan Maginnis (bass) joined by accident when first started playing bass for the Centaurus High School Jazz band. Jake and Colton were both in the Jazz band at the time an asked Logan if he wanted to jam with them. The three played together for 3 weeks till they got their first gig, (Still without a drummer) at the boulder library. After the gig, and inspired Derek Westover (Drummer) having no prior drumming skills asked to join.
The Stereos has had many names, "Black Sun", "White Water", "Black Amber", "Saint Malice", "Electric Nights", and finally The Stereos' seems to be the keeper. Live shows are what we're all about so if you want us to play at your next party or want to book us for anything, we'd be happy to play for you. Come see when our next shows are and come check us out if you like what you hear.
We are currently in the proccess of finishing our first album, so that will be soon to come for all you fans out there. We will post the details as soon as we know the dates and info.
