Hi everybody, just here to say our new RORY GALLAGHER HAWK BOOSTER is ready for shipping. Have a listen if you get a chance, All the best, Stevie Flynn.
You up for a slightly earlier set up on Saturday, can't remember if I mentioned we've got a support for you in the shape of Oz blues maestro Phil Edgeley?
Fancy Derrin Nauendorf popping by for ten minutes if he's up for it?
Any possibility of blogging, bulletining, e-mailing, telephoning, jungle drumming, texting, pigeon messaging, or anything else ending in ing to anyone at all who might have an interest in turning out for the RIbFEST October 9th, 10th & 11th at Howden please?
Hi Steve! Fantastic band you have there, dude! I love this seventie's taste also (free, for instance). by the way, thanx for your support!:)) I really love music from Howling Wolf and C Beefheart, and it's been nice to find people that like these influences on our music. Cheers!
First a big public thanks to all those who came down to Banks and made last week an unbelievably busy & entertaining night. Especially thanks to the performers: Annabel Rogers, James Henry, Lee Star, Fudgey, The Love Spuds, Debbie Jordan, Kev G, Stevie Sticks, and Martin (who just about stole the show). Apologies if I forgot to mention anyone - it was that hectic it's a bit of a haze!
And so to this week.....
Hopefully we can tempt you down again to either perform or just watch, support & be entertained! It really is growing into one of the best nights in town but we still need each and every one of you to keep that going!
We'll be down there from 8:30pm as usual, come and keep us company!
Banks Harbour, 99-103 Beverley Road, Hull (next to the welly club)

"Here's something a bit different. These guys are heavily influenced by Rory Gallagher, Status Quo and early 70's British bluesy hard rock. They've got a great groove in the rhythm section, a fine guitarist in Guy Rosewall, and their album 'Bullfrog Blues' is recommended! The album includes a rockin' take on Rory's "Seven Days". Definitely not another SRV clone"
"The band is driven beautifully by Terry Brown on drums and Tim Chapple on bass, the latter laying down a stomping beat on every number.......... on the showing of this album I would strongly recommend them" (Ian McKenzie - Blues In The South).
ROCKING THE BLUES WITH A SLEDGEHAMMER GROOVE – THIS ENGLISH TRIO TAKE THE RORY GALLAGHER / HENDRIX BLUEPRINT AND BRING IT KICKING AND SCREAMING TO A TOWN NEAR YOU.
