Dave Soby - Piano
Dave is an experienced stride, ragtime, boogie and blues pianist whose work includes three stints with the famous "Steve Lane's Southern Stompers." Dave and Steve started the All Stars six years ago and have shaped it to the band we have today.
Dave Vaughan - Clarinet/Saxophone
Dave has worked in the South West for the past twenty years in jazz and function bands. His musical passion for swing and blues music adds a strong influence to the band's sound. Dave's humour, sensitivity and performance make the band swing.
Angus Thomson - Cornet
A very strong cornet player with much experience and discipline, he gives the band edge, strength and leadership. Angus still plays with the "Ploughboy Jazz Band" and has excelled with variety and conviction in his six year period with the All Stars.
Tim Bragg - Percussion
Tim plays flute and guitar as well as percussion. He has played in many pop, rock, soul and reggae bands moving now to concentrate more in the jazz idiom. Tim's energy, enthusiasm, sublety and technique are unique. Proficiency as a writer and author gives Tim the sensitivity to shine and make him a true All Star.
John Westaway - Guitar
John has worked in many jazz and dance bands in Devon. His love of music, farming and golf bring solid character and playful humour to the band. His tailor-made swinging, driving, precise guitar playing give a strong enthusiastic presence on stage.

The All Stars are one of the top South West function and festival traditional swing jazz bands. As befits the busy schedule of a successful working jazz and blues band, the gig list includes all kinds of bookings, from wedding receptions to garden parties, from dinner dances to corporate promotions, and summer balls to riverboat jazz cruises.
Steve Tucker launched the jazz band in North Devon (UK) six years ago, basing the sound on the ever popular classic songs and show tunes of the 1920's, 30's and 40's. The Steve Tucker All Stars have had great popularity around Devon and have benefited from good CD airplay from the BBC in particular, whilst newspapers and magazines have generously acknowledged the band's energy, enthusiasm and performance.
