The Stiffies formed in 2002 in a cultural desert on the North Coast of Australia where things can get fairly dull. Rather than torturing small animals on the weekends for kicks they formed a dumb garage/punk/pop band.
Four like-minded lads on a mission to create garage music thats heavy on melody whilst giving the nonsense a heave.
In this day and age of throwaway pop, bad boy bands, boob popping divas, and hip-hop bling bling, there aint much for a real rock n roller to latch onto - a band to wrap your dirty little fingers around and rave about to all the other freaks, geeks and cretins.
The Stiffies have their first album in the bag which will be later in the year.
