The Stoics formed in 1994 when Brandon Bondage and Mike Doomsday decided to create their own version of the punk/hardcore they had become obsessed with. Throughout the Stoics' ten years of existence they put out numerous homemade cassettes and two full length cds, 'Tougher Than Deniro' in 1999, and 'Fall of a New Beginning' in 2002. The Stoics shared the stage with such acts as Aus Rotten, Naked Aggression, Mankind, Los Crudos, the Trash Brats and Cluster Bomb Unit. In 2004, while preparing for a recording session that was intended to spawn a 7-inch release on Tocado records, members of the band split. Bondage and Doomsday decided, due to numerous lineup changes, to put the Stoics on indefinite hiatus and pursue other projects.

My big benefit show (for my massive medical debt from the horribly scary stroke I had) is really starting to come together. Here's the link to a Myspace profile Grog just set up to showcase and explain the benefit. It even has a Paypal link for online donations. So check it out and put in a friend add request (I don't control it, but I'm sure you'll be added). http://www.myspace.com/tomwatsonbenefitshow
