The Stone Hearts formed in late 2005 to fuse several musical styles into a new breed of Power Folk. With Paul Isaac on lead vocals and guitar, Brendan Fitzgerald on drums, Kim Moore thumping away on the bass, and Greg Skulicz on the lead guitar the band combines everything from country to punk (think Bob Dylan meets Radiohead). Thus, the Stone Hearts have sculpted a sound that is both true to themselves, and was able to grab the attention of their audience. The lyrics blend stories and experiences, making the songs that The Stone Hearts write all that much more reachable to listeners.
