The Stops have come a long way in developing their "punk folk" rock style.
Early in the 2000's, Joe and Pablo entertained Fordham University students with impromptu acoustic jam sessions featuring pots and pans. Along the way, Pablo met Jon. One quick audition later, Jon's bass spearheaded the evolution of The Stops. After a sort of revolving door of lead guitarists, Alroy came into the picture. His mastery of the six strings and overall persona meshed perfectly with The Stops' style.
Throughout the course of their existence, The Stops have incorporated many aspects of the rock spectrum into their sound. Punk, raggae, ska, pop, folk, metal, classic--they've experimented with many genres to arrive at their current state.
The Stops have been playing shows in New York City for nearly 3 years and are ready to expand their music outward. Be on the lookout.

FADE was written and directed Anthony Stagliano and starring David Connolly (13 Conversations About One Thing) and Sarah Lassez (The Blackout, Mad Cowgirl). The film also features performances from Michael T. Weiss (The Pretender, Until The Night) and special guests Devon Odessa (My So-Called Life; Mad Cowgirl) and Anthony Drazan (director and screenwriter of Hurlyburly). I also make an appearance in the film.
The film also features music from improvisational legends AMM, Art Bears, Ginnungagap, and original music by Cameron Presley (Upsilon Acrux) and Hollis Lee (Midnight Sun).
FADE is David Connolly’s final performance; Mr. Connolly passed away tragically in the fall of 2006.
