    The members of the The Straight A started their joint activities in December 2005 in Frankfurt am Main (Germany). All of them used to play in several other bands and session groups before. Their common musical preferences cover 60's mod and garage, 70's punk and 80's, 90's as well as today's indie rock plus some more or less obscure releases of different genres from the last half century. The trio whose music is marked by dirty guitar riffs, straight beats and tight bass lines mixes raw energy and an unpolished garage sound into a captivating, completely self-composed rock stew. In other words: The Straight A's do their best to create rough but catchy tunes which you can't easily get out of your head; songs of different moods, but working together harmoniously.
