Vic Galloway, BBC Radio 1. "The Strands sound like a muscular outfit who blend the lad-rock tendencies of Oasis and Kasabian with good, old-time, low-slung riffola reminiscent of Led Zep, Black Crowes etc. Loud and proud with their eye on the prize."
Jim Gellatly, XFM Scotland. "Hints of the Stereophonics with a bit of the Doors and Oasis coming through as well...Altogether creating a rather satisfying blend of driving indie rock.
Tomorrow To Soon is certainly one of those tunes that sticks in your head and wont go away."
The Strands are brothers Andrew and Steven Moore on guitars and Calum Bell on drums and formed in Nov 2006. Although they are only a three piece the band create a large raw powerful sound that is both melodic yet bursting with grunge angst. They draw on influences from the likes of AC/DC, Foo Fighers and BRMC to name but a few.
The Strands have had the privilege to play with some of this countries finest bands and have played in some of the countries finest venues including gigs in London, Liverpool and Sheffield. The band also had the pleasure of playing in Texas at The 2009 SXSW Festival.
