Formed from the ashes of misdirected music projects and misguided romances, The Strange Young
Lovers were born in the summer of 2007. Joey London convinced a bandless and distraught Michael Scahill to once again pick up the guitar, and when Chadwick Johnson walked through the door
with drumsticks and Andrew Puricelli stumbled into one of thier late night parties The Strange Young
Lovers were born and are now here to spread their new strange romantic music. The SYL use all of their outlets and influences reaching from sixties garage, to eighties no wave, and all in between.
Their music like themselves ranges from moody to aggressive to heartbroken to mischievous. Listen up and soon their strange young love will infect you too.
