Channelling the musical taste of some long-dead, methed-out roofer.
Chris Stelloh thought he was punk rock - that meant hating every bit of classic rock ever crapped out during the 1970's. Then he left DC for Chicago and has, ironically, found himself fronting The Streeters - who beg, borrow and steal from just about every rock 'n roller as far back as Buddy Holly on up to Led Zeppelin. He also hates writing band bios - and is trying to keep it minimal. He really doesn't want to come off as a pompous windbag... Recently, The Streeters have made the financially motivated decision to downsize (we can't really outsource our labor to Indonesia) - and the new lineup is the simplified singer/guitarist backed up by only a drummer... Omar Ahmed is a very recent addition to The Streeters will hopefully do his best to make their songs sound better than they have any right to.
