Tits'n'twang has always been a great combination, and now theres a new four-piece beat combo to fill yer boots, in both capacities! Formed in Londiunium, Engerland during the summer of 2005, The Stripchords' performance accompanies / compliments a titillating projection of choice 8mm cheesecake flicks from the 50s, curated by our own Captain Rex Standish, and Mr Jim Bishop, prevert of this parish. The Stripchords' set features such covers as Roger & The Gypsies' "Pass The Hatchet", the "Theme From Billy Liar", Jimmy Gordon's "Buzzzzz", and the "Batfink" theme, plus a host of original compositions, including "The Maharaja", "Susan's Smalls", "The Dirty Burglar", "Beatnik Rodeo", "Voodoo Chikun", and "Goosebumps". On selected dates, space permitting, The Stripchords now feature the go-go dancing of Mizz Lager-Shandy and Mizz Stephanie, who do wonderful things with hula hoops and hot pants. The Stripchords welcome invitations to play your burlesque theatre, grind house, greenhouse, garden shed, bar mitzvah, club night, sweetheart's boudoir, and similarly jocular social gatherings.
