Sounds like:
skyscraping lightness and raucous homespun linoleum dancing
They are modest, honest to a fault.
With the subtle simplicity of the naive and the seductive ambiguity of the
knowing they want to elevate atoms of feeling into the world of rock and roll.
They are cleaving a space out of forgetfulness and filling it with urgency of the
sounds on their records. It's a landscape of skyscraping lightness and raucous
homespun linoleum dancing; it's an imperative to join them at the uncertain
place where the heart can be heard with clarity and where the soul can
scream its freedom.
It takes a lot of heart and The Struggle Fish, by evoking an entire
tradition of rock and roll while nonetheless maintaining their own very clear
view on what it means to rock out in the new millennium, are able to express
this necessity with a seldom heard resolve and poignancy.
They pledge their loyalty to only one genre: themselves.
Spending time with The Struggle Fish is a place where
you may feel oddly at home and simultaneously a-stray.
Welcome The Struggle Fish.

G'day , Hope all's well! We're trying to get airplay on Triple J Radio, so if you like our music we have decided to give a free download @ http://www.triplejunearthed.com/Artists/View.aspx?artistid=14312 or just click on the banner below. And all we ask in return if you can rate & leave a review of our tunes on the Triple J download page as these two things are what they will be looking at when deciding. We'd really appreciate it!
I was able to catch the last two songs when I arrived and I think it was Shane that I spoke with briefly after your set then wondered where you guys went off to. But in any case, I enjoyed what I saw.

That was a great set at The Horseshoe, a romping country-tinged dazzler, a sort of joyride through a dirtroad, smelling of whiskey, open-up the floodgates to a rock and roll ride. Keep to your musical vision.
