Welcome to The Studio Guy Mastering, which is a mastering and recording (a/k/a Camp Wiggs) studio. Camp Wiggs is a very unique music recording and mastering environment designed by its owner, Tommy Wiggins. Pulling from his 30 plus years as a recording artist, Wiggins set out to mold a perfect blend of technology, comfort, creativity and affordability. As an avid gear and instrument collector, over the years Wiggins has outfitted Camp Wiggs with some of the finest vintage equipment available today, then coupled it with the latest in digital recording technology and placed it in a very creative setting just outside of Cleveland, OH.
Designed by the artist, for the artist, Camp Wiggs focuses on creativity- and capturing the fruits of this creativity with excellent equipment, all the while keeping the technology firmly in the background. No big glass control room windows to create the "fish bowl effect" here- rather several unique recording rooms (not cramped booths!) such as the study, the piano room (outfitted with a Kawai grand piano) the conservatory, and a great sounding foyer as well. Now you- the artist, can be recorded in the same types of spaces that originally led to you creating your songs in the first place, instead of a stale "studio" environment. Then you can take a nap in the hammock by the creek afterwards as dinner cooks on the grill.
