The STUNTS were formed in Seattle in 2000. They had a short run that year playing shows in Washington State, until Mick was arrested and mistakenly released. After an extended hiatus; during which Mick Stunt was on the run from Johnny Law, married, incarcerated and finally released back to the mean streets of Marblehead to find that his son Jones had taken up the bass. Needing a drummer, they enlisted the talents of PURE IMPACT Guitarist/Songwriter Ian Clark who took up playing broken remnants of deceased and disappeared drummers sets which were kicking around in the STUNTMAN Headquarters (the basement.)
Soon they had created a setlist and started playing shows in MA & NH. It was apparent after smashing the remaining drums at GOON'S house-party that Ian would have to buy a kit. In December of 2007, Ian purchased his first set (Gretsch) and they continued to rock and roll.
Currently The STUNTS are writing and recording new material and trying to stay sober long enough to practice regularly. If the boys in blue don't set up Mick or break Jones' hand again maybe you too will come to know the sounds of THE STUNTS. KEEP ON LISTENING! and THANKS.
