It is with heavy heart and deep regret that we announce The Substitute Who are splitting up with immediate effect.
External factors have played a big part, with some of us having our time being increasingly taken with other projects but the decision was made today to end it after an announcement out of the blue by our singer(cheers mate)
that left us with no alternative but to call it a day. It seems loyalty, friendship and commitment are far outweighed by more material things.
We have enjoyed our time as a band and have played some great venues to some very enthusiastic crowds and have recieved some great feedback.
We feel we achieved our aim of reproducing the look and sound of the greatest band in the world and thank Pete, Rog, Keith and John for giving us that inspiration.
To all the venues that have previously booked us we thank you and to all the venues that wont get to see us we apologise sincerely.
Be lucky, long live rock!!
