About me:

ABOUT THE BOOK:

Seven million people board the subways of New York City every day, each one with a story to tell. The Subway Chronicles: Scenes From Life in New York collects 27 of the tales, dramas, and comedies that unfold during the daily commute. From the "mole people" living in the subway tunnels, to the transit employees working behind the scenes, to the locals and tourists riding shoulder-to-shoulder in harmony, discord, and indifference, The Subway Chronicles offers a kaleidoscope of perspectives on this most public of spaces.

Hope you're doing well.

Allergies are killing me this week.

The weather here is great. Everything is blooming and we're going to be close to 80 degrees tomorrow. I'm line-editing right now and the allergies are about the only thing that could keep me inside and working. A blessing? maybe.

Hopefully, everything will explode into bloom, fade and I can get back to feeling normal.

Enjoy your day!

Yay! Actually, Naomi (Strange Anachronism®, below me) sent me the book as a gift, and I absolutely love it! It has become one of those books where it gets passed down from person to person, "Hey you should check out The Subway Chronicles." It is so funny, and I am glad I'm not the only one that encounters the most ridiculous things while riding the subway in NYC.

P.S. I love your blogs too!

OMG I am in your top friends. I feel Soooo special.

I've been reading your book during my lunch break and riding the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) to work... and let me say... I LOVE IT!!!

I have been giggling, and tears have come to my eyes, and I've sat with my mouth agape in shock...

Seriously. I love this book. Most of all its making me miss NYC more than ever and I want to come home!! :)
