Each member of the band comes from a different musical background, but there is a common ground with the following:- the beatles, the who, the byrds, the doors, the rolling stones, the kinks, the small faces, The velvet underground, captain beefheart, led zepplin, stevie wonder(early days), the jam, my bloody valentine, the wonder stuff, the stone roses, happy mondays, the charlatans, super fury animals, ac/dc, pixies, jesus jones, foo fighters, oasis, the frank and walters.
A five piece band from South Wales, The Sugarhouse marry contemplative mellowness, indie-rock and folk psychedelia with a definitive ear for melody. We have joined forces from numerous bands like Reaction, TWP and Junk e-Mail. We have completed a stint @ Rockfield Studio and the new album is complete and on the way, few problems with the printers or something!!!!

Not the best gig to be honest. The sound was awful. I couldn't hear the laptop/p.a. over some minor chattering by some punters. It was that quiet! That certainly didn't help. Still had a great night nonetheless and had some positive feedback on the new 'harder' material (on the little they could actually hear I bet). The new version of "Lisbon..." (with added 'Zeroes and Ones' sample) went down particularly well (even if no-one recognised said riff).
Just to let you know, I'm playing the Treorchy RAFA (Benitez - ole, ole!!!! - top of the league and all that - lol!!!!) club this Friday. I know it's short notice (last minute line-up change and all that), but I'd love it if you would be able to see my humble performance (I'll also try to get you on the guestlist - so hopefully it wouldn't cost you anything to get in). Let me know if you can make it.

Since signing the Perspectives album to Nashville Noir I've been working on some acoustic material for the next project and have posted 'Orange moon' as my new fifth track replacing 'Waiting for the call' which is on the album. Let me know what you think

We toured smaller theatres around Wales with this show last year and had such a great time that we have decided to put the show on at St David's Hall.
