About The Sugarplums

Two boys (and now one girl!) playing magnificently realized,
yet poorly recorded pop songs and having lots and lots of fun.
matthew also spends the rest of his time running skatterbrain!

The Sugarplums, a duo from the Baltimore area, began their performance with a rather heartfelt and non-ironic cover of the Scooby Doo theme. In the hands of your typical bar band, this could’ve been a disaster. But these two were so delightfully twee, I couldn’t help but smile.
