The Sums are a Liverpool based 4 piece unsigned experimental / indie rock band, or how they describe themselves as 'Country & Northern'. Formed in 2005 and fronted by Peter Deary (Digsy ex-smaller), and hailing from the backstreets of Liverpool. The band are as tight as the lid on a jam jar and delivers strong melodic tunes that are sure to leave the hairs on your toes standing.
The energy The Sums produce is enough to power the whole UK and thats their intention, and as for their live performance they have been known to pick up on rictor scales.
The Sums are certain to be one of the best new bands around, and if not i'll eat my numbers!

Great gig as usual Sums lads at the O2 academy last friday. Always great to catch the band live. Hope you get better rewards from the music because it's first class. The Sums should be Liverpool's biggest band, but are the best band!
David Tyrrell: band was absolutley brilliant last night on the SUBSTANCE Album launch @ 02 Academy in Liverpool. All the bands were banging, what exposure this as been so far & still is going to be.
Was great meeting up with Harvey Morovision, Steven @KHP, Dave Tyrrell new drummer: Ben. Dicks Orchard Dave & Wakka etc, all a good set of lads & what vocalists. Seeing Chris, Bren, Digsy & Lee again from the Sums always a pleasure.
The Mockingbirds did Leeds really proud last night with a storming set plus the crowd they brought.
Last but not least Rich & Craig the Northern Empire promotions & DJs, they put on a sterling night, right event so it was.
Pano, Beaty, Keo, John, Dave & Mrs Tyrrell :-) Carter, Claire & everyone. On you go folks, everyone were great.
