Thompson, James Dean, David Lynch, The Saints, Jimmy Stewart, The Stone Roses (but not the 'dancing'), Marilyn Monroe, David Bowie, Patti Smith, Patrick Suskind, Johnny Cash, Cary Grant, Nick Drake, The Modern Lovers, Marlene Dietrich, The Beach Boys, Emily Dickinson, My Bloody Valentine, Nico, Marlon Brando, Oscar Wilde, Hammer horror films, Hole, Etta James, Paul Giamatti, The Crystals, The Ronettes, Billie Holiday, Bob Dylan, The Cramps. Andy Warhol, Sonic Youth, The Shangri-Las, Tim Burton and Leonard Cohen.
