Armed with an inspiring work ethic, a nonstop touring regimen and great songs, The Sunstreak have been bringing their own brand of infectious rock to the world since 2005. The Sunstreak, based out of Rochester, NY is comprised of Tony Rebis (Vocals), Jason Sarkis (Bass), Jack Flynn (Guitar/Vocals), Gary Foster (Drums) and David Schuler (Guitar/Synth/Vocals).
With the release of their self-titled and self-produced debut full length CD, The Sunstreak has hit the ground running since the Summer of 2006 on the Vans Warped Tour, selling over 25,000 records in 2 months and landing them on he Warped Tour compilation CD along with Saves the Day, Underoath, and Hellogoodbye. This relentless work ethic has lead them to be the second band in history to post on the Billboard charts without a distribution deal - Notably 33 on the Top Independent albums as well as 30 in overall Heatseakers. With the summer of 2009 just around the corner, and the release of their new album, Once Upon A Lie, approaching, The Sunstreak show no signs of slowing down.

remember when rochester had a message board that wasnt just devoted to lets say just "hardcore"? we'll we do now go check out www.rochestersoftcore.cjb.com you can post about your shows no matter what genra your band is and talk about everything from the latest polar bear club cd to the newest 30 second to mars cd. so spread the word and check out this message board and lets get rochester back to where it was was show wise. thanks guys-xthomx
Yayyyy!! haha, can't wait to see the new videos and whatnot. Plus I'm pretty sure that there will be a Sunstreak music marathon while I work on stuff for finals over the next the few weeks :D (And believe me i have high standards when it comes to finals music lol)
I see. Hm, well, unfortunatally I'm suffering a bad Writers Block and it sucks because I feel like writing then I draw a blank. Like, poetry is easy because its what Im feeling but stories....ehh. I start one then get a new idea and start a new one haha. I did finish one book but its really bad so Im gonna re-do it. Since ya'll seem so talented with writing and stuff...think you can help me out?
