Hood River trio playing Surf Metal.....What is Surf Metal you ask? It's a fusion of metal and surf music. Heavily influenced by the Surf Music Kings Dick Dale and Link Wray and Metal GODS Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin.
Feeding off of each others ideas, with virtually pure sonic consensus, their music, one could say, simply spawns out of the ethos. But it is quickly nailed down, if they happen to record it, and worked into a song.
The Surf Vipers first got together in October of 08' and are now in the process of booking gigs and playing out.
