'The Suspects is a name most Luton folk will have heard of. They are a very well known band in the area, if I didn't see their name on a poster, in the local paper or hear them playing live as I walk past a venue then I would know something is wrong - either that or they have locked themselves in the studio to record more fun, catchy indie rock.
I have met The Suspects on many occasions and have seen them live a few times - they are so much fun! It's a competitive industry but when you meet a band as enthusiastic as these guys you know they will succeed!' - Kelly Betts
BBC Three Counties, The Box Office.
‘The Suspects line-up has all the hallmarks of the perfect Indie band - a cheeky frontman, a pretty boy bassist, a lead guitarist with the gift of the gab and a drummer who's ever so slightly mad.’ – Helen Husband, The Guardian
‘If record sales were measured by hard work and dedication then The Suspects would be celebrating their first number one hit any day now……The fact that the track is actually very good, and worth every penny that it will cost you to download it or buy it from a record store, is almost a secondary issue. I think The Suspects have achieved something quite remarkable, and I will be buying a copy of their single simply because if they continue with the same dedication, self-belief and tenacity throughout their musical careers, then that signed limited edition original single may just be worth a fortune one day.’ – Jeremy Brown, Editor of Luton At Large
‘Tonight I believe Luton has discovered something that could turn out to be quite special. Never before have I witnessed a crowd like I did tonight turn out to watch a local band.’ – The Scene review of George II gig Jan 07
‘Four piece band out of Luton, played an ALL too short set at the Barfly today, cool, relaxed pure Indie pop....a tight performance, A Long Time was a stand out track with rich lush vocals...check this band out!’ – Camden Barfly review by AK Photography
'Things We Do' is a perfect blend of rock's greatest and coolest bands - Oasis, The Verve, Beatles, The Stones...you name them, they're there in the mix. The track is all swagger and attitude - perfect blissed out rock and roll. Is it just me or do the Suspects make all those other new bands sound past their sell-by date? 'A Long Time' which I think is great it reminds me on those acoustic numbers on Oasis' 'Masterplan' album. Gary Williams NME
