Mick, our frontman, has been rockin' up a storm for more than 30 years, playing with the likes of american blues giants Jimmy Rogers (Muddy Waters Band), Louisiana Red, Homesick James, Henry Gray (Howling Wolf Band) and many more. Mick's last blues band - C.J. & the Houserockers - were fortunate enough to have backed USA vocal group The Eldorados, on a John Peel session in 1995 .....
Pete, guitar, hailing from Walthamstow, East 17, has been an R n B lover all his life, and in his spare time enjoys wild parties and hard drugs ...... General Lee, bass, originally from West Yorksire, started as a lead vocalist in several bands ..... Mickie D drums. Originally from London, Mick has played and recorded with John Lydon, Mike Oldfield, Afrikaa Bambataa and Leftfield ..... Finally, Jason, our magic man of the keys, is a semi-pro playing as as a session man for anyone and everyone. His recent addition has added a whole new dimension to the band
Influences
What can we say? Anything and everything ..... The Blues, R n B, Soul, Ska, Rock n Roll. You name it, we love it. But our real influences are Chuck Berry, the Stones - especially early Stones, Dr Feelgood, Nine Below Zero, Sonny Boy Williamson, all the Stax artists ..... but there's also a big dose of Johnny Cash, Johnny Rotten, Joe Strummer, Keith Richards, Lee Brilleaux, Ian Dury ...

The band is a close knit group of friends with a common goal. We believe the musicianship is outstanding and, most importantly, the band has an enthusiasm which makes a Suspects gig a night to remember! We remain true to the spirit of traditional R&B music, and endeavour to recreate this - the coolest music on the planet - for Fans and the uninitiated everywhere.
