THE SUZAN was formed by two Japanese girls, RIE(Guitar) and SAORI(Vocal) in the summer of 2003. They had been sicking and tired of recent Japanese POP idol music. So they decided to produce their own songs and bring the movement and revolution to the music scene of not only Japan but also the world by their sound. And quickly they got a contract with Japanese indie label.
Their the very first demo becomes to their first single "SUZAN KINGDOM" that sounds sort of mods and garage, not so heavy, not so light. Then they started to have gigs in Japan in the fall of 2004 with 2 other bandmates, Michelle(Bass) and NICO(Drums). Since then, 4 rock girls-THE SUZAN have been touring outside of Japan, such as UK; London --supporting for The Bishops and Radiobirdman in 2006), Mancheser and Liverpool and in Germany; Berlin and Leipzig and New York as well as in Japan.
This summer of 2007, in June, THE SUZAN finally released their first full album and are touring Europe cities; London, Manchester, Glasgow, Brighton, Paris and Berlin! --including dates of supporting for THE GO! TEAM UK tour in UK)
THE SUZAN believes in music that makes people feel nice and cool, and
loves rock, any kinds of rock. Melody that THE SUZAN creats is easy to
memorize and come into your mind and soul.
Gigs thatTHE SUZAN shows are very much enegetic and fun! You can not miss any incidents they bring up and have to keep eye on THE SUZAN!
