關於 The Sweater Set

Maureen Andary & Sara Curtin met in their DC church choir at the tender ages of 11 and 13, singing together every week until Maureen left for college in new york city and sara made her way to michigan. In July of 2008, Maureen, a songwriter and ukulele instructor back in Washington, was tapped as a finalist for the Mountain Stage NewSong Contest. She wondered and wondered who could possibly sing the high harmonies she wrote on her songs? A lightbulb went off in her head when she remembered the long lost Sara Curtin, also a songwriter and ukulele player. The experience in West Virginia was righteously awesome and proved to Sara & Maureen that they belong on a musical path together. And thus was born, the Sweater Set, a duo that will melt your heart. With the honesty and candor of a comedy team and the sensitivity of a down comforter, these girls will give it to you straight about love, life, and the occasional one-night stand.
