Once upon a time, there were three cool cats hanging out down by the railroad tracks.
"We need more beer!" exclaimed Shane "The Dawg" Higgins.
"We should start a rock band," said Mark Bickle in a much more somber tone.
"Alright," Dusty Whitman agreed.
So they did both. Dusty and Mark had honed their skills together since high school in a band called The Sprags. Shane had worked with various artists around town, including The Sprags and Mark Mikel as well as his own project, The Hairstyles.
The combination was good. What each brought fortified what anyone else lacked at the time. One guy wrote great lyrics, the other helped finish the tune, etc.
Matt Ujvagi, after finishing law school and finding success as a 9-5'er, found a need to feed the hunger for the indecent things in life. He uses the skills he learned as a boy chained to a piano to fill The Blue Streaks' keyboard slot.
Bryan Reichow, built like the A-Team's B.A. Baracus with an aptitude for mechanical shenanigans, sets the electrifying pace for the band.
All together they cover the spectrum of skills needed to make a rock band roll.
