We really should update this more often. Anyway, five weekends ago we stepped into the Compound Recording studio in Ben Lomond, CA to work with our good friend Joe Clements (ex-Fury 66/currently in Crucial Unicorn) and rocked out on 10 new songs for our full length album, tentatively titled "Creatures Of Routine". As of today our mixing dates were pushed back to July 27th - Aug. 6th so we're going back into the Compound for one more day to spruce up what we already have. I will be the first to admit that yes, we used a trumpet on our album and we can't wait for you to hear it :D
In July our record will be in New York at Future Shock Studios with Alex Newport (google his name, he's done so much!). Having these two meatheads working on our full length has made us feel like giddy little school girls! Once that is complete we then ship it over to John Greenham who will put the final mastering touch to it and then...all hell breaks loose. We will do our best to have it available EVERYWHERE. Unfortunately it looks like our Northwest tour will not have the album but we will take pre-orders and we will have our EP and possibly new merchandise with us (as long as UPS doesn't lose it...again)
We are looking at a mid September release.
Well, I think that's all the news I've got. Oh, Lucas Andrews from Anchor Down is doing our full length artwork. He is amazing at what he does and the ideas he's shown us have been phenomenal. So until next time, always remember to step to the right, grab the balls, squeeze and run! <3 TSR

TAX DAY TAX DAY TAX DAY! I hope everyone gets their taxes in on time and that you don't get screwed by the gov't anymore than you already are! Anywho, I would like to update you all on our progress. Our recording dates have been moved to start on May 15th and we'll be out of there by the middle of June, just in time to go to New York to mix with Newps, as we so lovingly call him. But on a more important note: GO TO OUR BOTTOM OF THE HILL SHOW TOMORROW NIGHT! We are the first band to play at around 9pm, so be there at 830pm. It's $8 at the door and it's 21+. We are playing with these two kick ass bands, Murray The Thief and High Like Five. You gotta check this show out! We expect to have over 100+ fans and friends there to see us. This way, the venue can see for the second time we are a decent drawing band and then we can get a Friday/Saturday show and hopefully open up for some cool bands.
Well that about does it for today. Good luck and godspeed.
NEWS
February 4th, 2009
Hello all. We have been working pretty hard in the studio preparing some new songs for a full length assault on your ears this year. Right now the release date is looking to be around August or September, 2009. We have been working with Joe Clements of Compound Recordings on a 3 song demo for the record. We will be officially going into the studio starting April 3rd and will be done recording in the middle of May. We will also be working with Alex Newport on mixing again and hopefully we can get it all done and in your hands at the end of the Summer. We will also be touring through the North and South west this year.
Tonight our myspace will change. it will don a new suit, so to speak. We will be removing everything to do with the last two years and start new and fresh. It will all be geared towards the new music, new sound, and new look. We have been honored by a great friend, Lucas Andrews from Anchor Down, to help us create this new monster.
We're going back to our punk rock roots but still keeping the TSR flavor. We feel that these songs will best represent what we have been striving for and hope the little taste we give you will make you want more.
That's all for now. Everyone say hi to Gabe Ausiello who is working with us on guitar to create these rad songs and record them for you. Hi Gabe!
Cheers and have a good day/night. Hopefully when you visit the site tomorrow you will like what you see.
THE RETURN OF THE BAT
Specimen will bring their special brand of glam mayhem, The Batcave to London again.
After last year’s wildly-successful 25th anniversary Batcave event, The Batcave returns to its original spawning ground of London’s West End on Sunday July 19 for another night of blasphemy, lechery and blood.
Specimen (Fresh from a fantastic show at Leipzig’s Waves Gotik festival), the original Batcave instigators will headline the lurid frolics at the Embassy Club, (29 Old Burlington St, London W1S3AP) Also on the bill are original Batcavers Sexbeat, with DJs Hamish and Cavey Nick, cavorting from decks to decadence with the usual brutal, trouser-dropping surprises & suitably confronting & barbaric entertainment.
The 2009 Batcave will feature installations from exciting new artists of the ‘Dark London Underground’ and visuals from the upcoming ‘Welcome To The Batcave’ book, along with this year’s bitcrushed message from the creature in the Batcave Pram. All set in a spooky Bladerunner environment!
So dress to kill … prepare for a thrill & Expect the unexpected!
The Batcave will be open from 10pm till 3am. Tickets £15 available from www.ticketweb.co.uk and Resurrection Records.
