The Sweetwater Meltdown hails from Chicago, IL, with good intentions indeed. Our purpose is clear: to provide a comfortable environment in which open minds and personalities can experience live music at it’s most genuine state. Our members have played with the likes of Tom Constanten, Rusted Root, Mickey Hart, Vince Welnick & Melvin Seals. Together we draw upon our own experiences and offer our take on lyrical songwriting combined with an enthusiasm for improvisational passages. FGC’s only Chicago appearance of the summer is coming up on Friday July 17th at the Abbey Pub. This will be an Ages 18+ show with special supporting acts: Lobster Newberg and The Rubblebucket Orchestra. This Hometown Throwdown is a show not to be missed…hope to see you there!!
