Hi, we're the swim team, a Seattle-based indie rock band. Amos Etheridge plays guitar, sings and writes most of the music, Adonis Toro, plays drums, and Lari Garrison, plays bass and sings. We like dogs, VW bay window buses, TV, politics and recycling.
We stopped in the midst of recording our 3rd album to subject ourselves to the RPM Challenge in Feb. 07 to write an record a totally different album. The two tracks, naps and ode to dog are two of the fruits of our labors. It was a tough month, and mentally exhausting, but it was rewarding, and if you're a band or musician yourself, we highly recommend tackling it yourselves next year. We know we will be.
The Swim Team rules! And so does this band! I hope you are all well - I'm going to be 40 before I get a decent email out the door. I will start a petition for you to play in Knoxville.
