The Tangible Ears are a group of musicians located in various cities around Ontario. Forming in late 2006 The Tangible Ears accumulated a repertoire of original material before releasing their debut EP "Hear the Ear" in May 2007. The EP was commended for its' eclectic sound and fresh instrumentation, and was spun a few times on CBC and local radio. After a series of performances in support of the CD, including a memorable night with Ottawa's Souljazz Orchestra, the Tangible Ears settled down to write a new album called "Whims".
Recorded in Kingston over 6 months in late 2007 early 2008, "Whims" exhibits tremendous growth in both song craft and fidelity. From belting 4 part chorales, to winding leads, mellow grooves and back again, "Whims" encompasses a chapter in the lives of these 6 Kingston musicians. The album was released on March 22nd 2008, many thanks to everyone who came out! "Whims" is available on CD Baby and iTunes and at Indigo Books and other locations in downtown Kingston.

I will keep an ear out (yes, pun intended) for you guys on iTunes then.
Lacking on the international front? I will spread the good word of The Tangible Ears - the Broken Social Scene meets smooth Jaga Jazzist sound is waaay sweet.
Thanks alot for letting us play last night, amazing show guys! Can't wait for the new cd and hope to play along with you guys again soon. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
