Level 70 Elite Tauren Chieftain was originally formed as Tenth Level Tauren Chieftain by four members of the New Horde and the Death Knight named Arthas Menethil. They first gained notoriety for their hit single "Power Of The Horde" from the album Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, which had a free RTS computer game on the bonus disc. In 2004, the band changed their name to Level 60 Elite Tauren Chieftain, 60 being the highest level attainable in World of Warcraft (which the band sponsored). In 2007, in honor of the release of The Burning Crusade and Udder Chaos, the band name was changed again to Level 70 Elite Tauren Chieftain, with 70 being the new level cap. Following the release of Udder Chaos, the Chieftains toured Azeroth and Outland, leaving a blazing trail of Horde-powered fury and metal behind them. Currently, the band is staying with Sig Nicious and his family in Silvermoon City, the capital of Quel'Thalas.
