Name: The T Club
Location: Eugene, Oregon
Together Since:1999
Style: Positive Reggae Influenced Groove for Dancing
Since 1999, The T Club has been spreading their original, positive, reggae-influenced dance music to the Oregon Scene and beyond. The T Club's distinct sound is created by combining the best elements of reggae, rock, dub, Latin rhythm, and psychedelic jam into a positive, musical infusion that is uniquely their own. The T Club is ready to share their conscious lyrics which are backed by beautiful harmonies and catchy riffs anytime, anywhere forever!
With influences from each of the The T Club's eight members, it can be difficult to pin down a "sounds-like"; but, their unique sound is influenced by such artists as: Manu Chao, Pink Floyd, Thievery Corporation, Sublime, Lee Perry, Beastie Boys, DJ Shadow, STS9, Radiohead, Rage against the Machine, EOTO, Bob Marley, Eek a Mouse, Dub Trio, and countless other international and domestic artists.
As many of their fans, venues, and promoters have pointed out, The T Club is a band that truly has fun with and loves the musical trance they create. Nate York, The T Club's guitarist and lead vocalist, says, "Keeping the band, crowd, and venue smiling is 1 to keeping the music fresh and real and has always been an important part of The T Club's mission. People will immediately identify an artist that does not want to be there playing music and, in turn, will not want to be there listening".
Always smiling and always ready to bring a crowd to it's dancing knees, The T Club has a message for you and will bring it in a positive, professional way.
To Release isn't to forget, not to think about, or ignore. It doesn't leave feelings of anger, jealousy, or regret. It's not about pride and it's not obsessing or dwelling on the past. It's not about giving in or giving up. To let go is to cherish the memories, but to overcome and move on. Letting go is learning and experiencing and growing. To release is to be thankful for the experiences that made you laugh, made you cry, and made you grow. It's about all that you have, all that you had, and all that you will soon gain. Letting go is releasing and having the courage to accept change, and the strength to keep moving. It is realizing that the heart can sometimes be the most potent remedy. To let go is to open a door, and to clear a path and set yourself free---
The T Club, remember that it's easy to let go when holding on hurts so bad--so free yourself from all these expectations and just be :-) Hope you find the unity in my new single posted âReleaseâ feat. JRockA. So come peep the track! Stay creative and stay connectedâ¦
