Hailed as the "modern retro-romantic minstrels of the Cedar Valley", The Teddy Boys are an uber pop family band taking styles from 1960's British Invasion Garage Rock and American Indie Rock and making them uniquely their own, churning out some of the most insanely catchy pop garage music currently coming out of the midwest today.
Forming in Cedar Falls, Iowa in the fall of 2004, around the songwriting of brothers Harper and Joel Sires with their cousin Dylan Sires. Drummer Graham Howland and bassist Devin Ferguson round out the sound.
They are kind of like the Kinks of Iowa, if the Kinks liked to get drunk and watch the Disney channel together.
Their first E.P. "Songs for Swingers" was self released in the fall of 2005. They released their debut L.P. "Love After Dark" in the fall of 2007 via Minneapolis/Cedar Falls label "The Tyros Label".
They have performed all over the United States on many week to month long tours. They are currently at work on their 2nd L.P.

I booked a tuesday night Branson, MO show at Poopeppio's Pizzeria with 4 other power pop punk pansy bands prematurely pissing off proud parents with puma prowess.
Hey, I just wanted say thanks for the add. Glad you liked our music! It'd be great if you could make it to a show someday but in the meantime, thanks again and have a great week! Boomer
Yes that would be sweetos if we did it at the mill. My brother and I are doing some stuff in Europe for a couple months but we will be back Nov. 14 so pretty much any time after then would great. Who else are you thinking about getting on the bill? If possible an IC band to get some local draw.
Hey guys! I moved to Austin last month... and i gotta say if you ever get this far south, try to book a show at "the hole in the wall"...i don't know how all that stuff works but i gotta say they have shows there every night, and there's never a bunch of douche bags ruining everything. Cheers!
Holy shit, 3 Stories is great. Sophisticated, clean, and I like how it is sort of monotonous. It gives you everything you need and want right away and then lets you enjoy it. Like the song I've been trying to write my whole life.
I think we'll do the 22nd if you're still up for it. Dan was trying really hard to make this Fargo thing happen but I think playing Spicolis with you guys will be way better :D I emailed Cody to confirm but haven't heard back yet.
