Tenacious Double D is a tribute band dedicated to the world's most awesome band - Tenacious D featuring Jack Black and Kyle Gass. Don't tell me you haven't seen the movie. seriously.
Tenacious Double D's set list tells the story of the orignial Tenacious D, just two friends trying to ROCK but Shelly and I have adapted a few bits here and there to also make it our story too. Two friends trying to rock while wearing a bra.
Shelly found all the talented guys we needed to pull this crazy stunt off right here in Ocean Beach. George Piper & Tim J La Fazia are our guitarists. Our rhythym section is straight out of Hodads! . . . Shawn Sokol and Dave Perlove. She convinced them to ROCK with us.
George can play the epic electric guitar riffs and Tim is strumming all of the acoustic parts, Sean is keeping us all together through all the changes with his bass. Dave is a complete maniac and our driving force on drums. we're so lucky to have such great guys behind us. Shelly and I just click in and sing.
