Lock up your effects pedals - THE TENANTS have finally finished their debut album! In a bid to follow up previous hit singles YOUI SHIT ME TO TEARS, then PUB GIRL and BOREDOM from the CAUCASIAN OVERBITE EP, the lads have had having a shot at recording their debut full -length album, Everything You Know Is Wrong.
A lack of a record company interest has forced the band into collecting aluminium cans and cashing them in with a view to paying off the rest of the recording bill very soon. Not that youd hear THE TENANTS complain. We realise everyone does it tough getting an album out. All this pain and suffering is nothing Bar-dot and Scandal-us havent had to go through TENANTS front man Ace commented from his cardboard box home yesterday.
Squalor and debt aside, the band is very excited about the albums new direction, taking guidance from a recent novel " ROCK, What's that all that about?" penned by Bassist JJ La-Moore. The novel is in essence 13 chapters of incoherent and obscenity filled ramblings, with a half page suffix explaining how one should sling your guitar f*****g low and be letting ROCK do the talking you dumb c**t.
The first single "Disco Ace ", sees the Tenants hit a serious note and tackle the age-old problem of not being able to dance till you have a boot full. It will hit the airwaves of your favourite community station in February 2006.
