Sounds Like
....if the smell of six kittens and one small turtle playing poker and discussing their feelings about the local gentry and what's to be done had a sound, this might be it.
The Tenements...not just a musical entity, but these buildings people live in. Mental.
In some ways, The Tenements have always been around. In other, more accurate ways however, they have only existed for a few days, weeks, months or years. No one is quite sure. Various sources are in agreement however that The Tenements have something to do with some kind of music. And that they all like strawberry jam.....coincidence?
Yes.
"With two very distinct sides to their coin, The Tenements can be tender, as well as turning out unashamedly funky rock, and singer Campbell's unique and often beautiful voice proving to be the cherry atop this particular cake. A cake which, i suspect, is probably filled with jam."
[Heather Crumley, Scotcampus Magazine.]
Whatever the sources say, crazy bitches that they are, The Tenements are creeping around like well-dressed ninjas, ready to knock you sideways, with a skillet.
(Especially the other band in Glasgow who've started calling themselves The Tenements. Boo.)
Logo design is kindly created and provided by Sombresun. Thanks!
Hello there my good man. I believe your voice has made me happy in my pants and your song would bring a smile to the face of a depressed and withered old um, potato farmer. or something.
I'm quite ashamed that it has taken us all at Hyena HQ this long to comment on your latest offering. Blunt St. certainly sounds like someone I very much like (like yourself, are you he?), and I like very much. Touch us again with those touching tunes, spoons

Well, it's not every day you meet a made-up wearing giant whose only weakness is cat fur. I also seem to remember people I have seen once better than people I've properly met.
Thanks for adding me. Is this the band of Halloween Campbell?
Your songs are every nice, better than that Hyena anyway... Only don't tell Jonny or I will be severely beaten.
